The 11th edition of the region's premier fashion event, Fashion Forward Dubai, will offer a full range of activities over four days to attract design professionals and fashion lovers.

The event will be held from 30 October to 2 November at the Design District, Dubai Design District, the region's leading creative center, and a business park dedicated to the design sector in all its fields.

The event will see 16 creative and retail partners showcasing their latest collections and products, during a series of social events, activities and useful workshops, which are part of this year's calendar.

Fashion Forward Dubai 2019 provides an ideal platform for new and experienced designers in the world of couture, garments and accessories from the region and the world. D3 Central in Dubai's Design District will become a major destination for designers and visitors as it celebrates fashion, talent and craftsmanship in the design world. The park will showcase an exclusive range of well-known accessories and retail brands, including a store offering products in5 design center. The Fashion Dialogues Forum will return to the Dubai Design District to receive a number of influential figures in the fashion industry and industry experts who will participate in several discussion seminars, focusing on topics as diverse as “Bauchi: Heritage and Innovation” and “Brands and their representation on social media”. , "Show your brand to buyers," and "Sustainability in fashion: how we make the difference."

For the first time, the event hosts the commercial and social marketplace Shop The Show, a platform that connects the public and visitors directly with designers' representatives. Participants in Fashion Forward Dubai 2019 include the unconventional Amato brand, founded by Forward One and Rashed Ali, and celebrate style and creativity. Michael Cinco brings luxury clothing and authentic touches to his clientele. His clients include Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez and Naomi Campbell. She also attends the Miss Kiba brand, created by the French-Egyptian designer Mariam Yehia, and attracted the attention of the public thanks to her modern designs and clear shadow lines. Maryam was selected as one of the top 100 emerging designers who are changing the face of the fashion industry around the world by Vogue magazine.

Participants include the award-winning jewelry designer Veneta Michael, who also specializes in gemstones and luxury gold jewelery that contains precious stones and pure silver. Her product range has been selected from Bollywood celebrities such as Priyanka Chopra, Sonam Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Jacqueline Fernandez and others. Among other stores and brands: Frame, a fashion store inspired by Japanese culture, plans to set up a temporary shop called «Frame and Friend» through which visitors can see the latest collections. While the luxury store Triano hosts a host of activities and dialogues about celebrity and brand collaboration, the Italian interior and architectural firm Arcade intends to partner with the Gaia Kimonos brand to launch a new product range.

Kolab, the UAE's first design materials library, will organize a specialized workshop on sustainable fashion design. The UAE's lifestyle brand, Giuseppe The Brand, hosts a makeshift shop to offer delicious milk candy.

Arwa Al Bannawi

Saudi Arwa Al-Bannawi, the award-winning Saudi fashion designer, is part of Fashion Forward Dubai 2019.

Arwa will showcase its product range in collaboration with Mercedes-Benz at Fashion Forward Dubai as part of the How To campaign.
