A British photographer took a picture of a spotted tiger playing with a plastic bottle in a tropical forest in Brazil this week.

The photographer hopes his photo will shed light on the problem of plastic and its increasing consumption, which carries serious damage to the environment and threatens the future of many organisms.

Countries such as Rwanda, Kenya and Tanzania ban the use of plastic bags or impose fines and restrictions on their use.

In Britain, former environment minister Michael Goff announced that tools such as plastic poles and plastic tubes used to move coffee shops would not be sold since early April 2020 under a ban on plastics.
