October 13 marks the 85th anniversary of the birth of the Soviet theater and film actor Savely Kramarov. He was always attracted to acting, but at the end of school he did not enter the theater institute and submitted documents to the Moscow Forestry Engineering. However, Kramarov was still destined to become an actor. One day, returning home after a part-time job at unloading wagons, he found a movie on the street. Dissatisfied with the episode, the director of the picture grabbed the young man from the crowd of onlookers and asked him to get into the frame. A year later, Kramarov saw himself on the screen. Then he firmly decided to change the profession: he began to go to the theater studio and achieved the first roles. So Savely Kramarov became one of the greatest comedic actors of Soviet cinema. He was remembered by the audience for his roles in the films Elusive Avengers, Gentlemen of Fortune, Ivan Vasilyevich Changing the Profession, 12 Chairs, and many others.
