Early diagnosis raises the chances of treating breast cancer, according to the Federal Center for Health Education.

The German center added that women should consult a doctor immediately after observing the following symptoms:

The presence of nodes in the breast or armpit, change the size and shape of the breast, the discharge of the secretions of the nipple (transparent or turbid or bloody), the direction of the nipple inward, changes in the skin such as crusts and bumps, redness and inflammation. Some factors increase the risk of breast cancer, such as family history, obesity, processed foods and hormone therapy.
