"Passengers traveling with babies between 8 days and 2 years who select their seat on our website will see on their screen the icon of a child in the places occupied by them," reads the airline page.

How they hadn't invented it before, he will have thought more than one. At least that is what travelers like Rahat Ahmed have expressed when they discover the new Japan Airlines tool. "This should be mandatory on other airlines," said this passenger on Twitter.

Others disagree. "They are babies, as we all have been," they have responded. "We have to learn to be tolerant. If not, we will soon need a map to avoid the stupid, slugs, pedros, drunks and maybe more things. Where have the surprises that life gives?"

Actually, even in Japan Airlines there could be surprises. The airline has already warned that its system could have some failure. If, for example, tickets are reserved through a third party, the smiley baby icon may not appear. Nor if there is any last minute change on the plane.
