The disgusting Russophobic behavior of official Warsaw in matters of historical memory finally received a worthy rebuff. The large-caliber artillery of the Russian parliament entered the matter. The question is fundamental for Russia: the role of our country in the defeat of Nazi Nazism. An attempt to revise it, a shift in emphasis is fraught with the continuation of the conflict in new forms today. Therefore, you can’t let it go. Neither the Poles, nor anyone else.

The reason for the reaction of Russian politicians was the excuses of the Deputy Foreign Minister of Poland, Shimon Shinkovsky, for the lack of an invitation to Vladimir Putin to events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the outbreak of World War II. He explained the incident by saying that Warsaw wants to "celebrate" the anniversary, adhering to the "spirit of historical truth." Judging by the terminology used, the Poles are even glad of the tragedy that happened then. Is being a victim in the modern world profitable?

The answer of the State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin was not diplomatic. But in this case it is quite appropriate. The leaders of Poland, trying to cross out historical memory, demonstrate their inferiority, imprinted Russophobia politician. And 600 thousand of our soldiers who died during the liberation of this country will be remembered "regardless of which parties and presidents come to power." The last passage is a stone in the garden of the nationalist party “Law and Justice”, which seized power in Chopin’s homeland.

Further more. The State Duma speaker called Poland a satellite country that wants to curry favor with its master. At the same time, he noted that "those states which they (the satellites. - S. A. ) patronize do not need such behavior on their part." And there is. Full of contempt for the excessively servile little brother, the US president simply ignored the invitation from Warsaw - he did not come. To use the Poles where he needs to (sell gas), Trump is not averse, but to serve as a wedding general at a rural party - thank you.

The offensive of Volodin was developed by the head of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs Leonid Slutsky. He correctly noted that in Poland they are simply afraid of the arrival of Russian officials after they began systematically destroying the monuments to the fallen Soviet soldiers. Vandalism even occurred at the central military cemetery in Warsaw. “They are all barbarously and blasphemously dug out of the ground, tombstones removed and destroyed,” the deputy recalled. On the eve of the 80th anniversary of the outbreak of war, it became known that a total of 420 Soviet monuments were destroyed.

Interestingly, even the assessment of World War II, chosen by Polish nationalists, was condemned even by Lech Walesa. The first president of the new Poland, who is hard to suspect of sympathy for the Soviet Union, criticized an attempt to belittle the role of our country in the defeat of the Nazis, refusing to invite Vladimir Putin to the celebrations. At the same time, he noted that, not having called Russia to commemorative celebrations, Poland called Germany. Is this not an example of monstrously distorted historical optics?

However, Warsaw should not be underestimated. Inviting German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, they apparently knew what to expect from him. And yet they heard official apologies for the actions of the Nazis.

And not only in German, but also in Polish. Vis-Steinmeier - Polish President Andrzej Duda immediately developed success by promising over time to bill Berlin for the war. The Germans will have to pay reparations. There is no doubt that if Russia turns out to be morally weak, then the lords will also be presented to Moscow. There was no conscience left on zloty.

The attack on the historical role of the USSR / Russia in 1945, apparently, is part of the broader plan of Warsaw and its allies in Russophobia, aimed at isolating Moscow from influence on the European agenda. In particular, by blocking her participation in PACE. “There are games, moreover, they are unscrupulous. There are forces that do not want the Council of Europe to consist of 47 countries, and are doing everything to upset the balance that has developed in Europe, ”Volodin pointed out in June, referring to Poland, Britain, Lithuania and Ukraine. Then it was possible to turn the tide, but Russophobia, as we see, is numb.

Well, since the stakes are so high, then Russia's response should be systematic and deep. So as to forever discourage the desire to juggle historical facts. To begin with, a bill drafted by the RF Ministry of Defense should be adopted, criminalizing the demolition of monuments to our soldiers abroad. He has already been submitted to the State Duma. I am sure that in this matter all parliamentary factions will support Volodin’s position. After the law comes into force, some can be dragged to the Lefortovo pre-trial detention center on the lasso. Not diplomatically? Yes. And to demolish the graves of heroes diplomatically?

But even more important is the use of historical Moscow “weapons” by Moscow. Since Warsaw, contrary to common sense, is trying to make our country responsible for the outbreak of World War II to the same extent as Germany, we should stop sparing our former allies in the Eastern Bloc and loudly, throughout the world, to recall the real historical truth - the pact concluded Polish leader Pilsudski and Hitler back in 1934. Four years before the Munich agreement! That's who was historically the first ally of Nazism - Poland. And there is nothing to pretend that this was not.

Let us recall how Warsaw behaved during Germany’s annexation of the Czech region of the Sudetenland and during the Anschluss of Austria. Almost applauded Hitler. They thought that it would not affect them? Why then complain and shift from sore to healthy? These facts must be widely discussed in the full power of Russian authoritative media. It is equally important to record them in history textbooks. Let new generations of compatriots know this bitter truth. It is no longer meaningful to gloss over it in the interests of proletarian internationalism, who has died in a Bose. The State Duma can give the solution to this issue the necessary acceleration.
