Kentucky began selling bone-free wings made from vegetarian meat at a Atlanta restaurant on Tuesday, all running out in just five hours, marking a new sign of vegetarian meat's success in the fast food market. During the day, the restaurant sold a large amount of new meals, called Pound Fried Chicken, equivalent to the traditional chicken meal in a week, Engadget said. Customers crowded in front of the restaurant before it opened, and posted photos and videos on social media showing crowding and new meals.

When Kentucky announced plans to sell vegetable wings produced by Beyond Meat, it said it would assess customer reactions to determine whether to sell these meals at its rest.
