This weekend SVT News reported on ravenous hungry Robyn fans and their anger towards the one-day festival Smash party x Robyn. The festival was marketed as "a total experience" with "fantastic food".

But when the smoke began to settle, many visitors testified about how they cooked for hours - some without getting food. Many chose to take out their anger on Facebook both Saturday and Sunday.

Now the festival has been reported to the Consumer Agency, which according to SVT Nyheter has at the time of writing received five notifications.

Accused of false marketing

In addition to the anger towards missing food, the reviewers state that they felt unsafe because of the congestion, that the lamps sometimes stopped working and that even the water ran out.

“You were not allowed to bring food or drink into the area, nor were you allowed to leave the area temporarily to buy food. All visitors who wanted to see the artist they paid for (Robyn) had to stand up for several hours without water and food. If this is not fake marketing, I don't know what fake marketing is, ”one person writes.

"Taking criticism seriously"

The organizer, record label Woah Dad, has taken note of the upset comments and is currently conducting an evaluation of the festival.

- We take the criticism very seriously. These are obviously things that we need to review and we need to get the evaluation done so that we get all the facts on the table before deciding on actions, ”says Niklas Lundell, one of the record company's founders.
