An Indian boy has climbed to the top of the Elbrus mountain in Russia, the highest in the European mountain range, as he prepares to climb the highest mountain in Australia.

The 10-year-old Sai Sudir Kwadi belongs to a sports group aiming to climb the highest mountain peaks on five continents of the world.

Elbrus outperforms Europe's second highest mountain by 832 meters, Montenegro, while climbing is extremely difficult, due to lack of oxygen and difficulty seeing near its peak, as well as the cold weather.

The sports group began its global tour of the Himalayas in 2018, and then the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro in January, the highest peaks on the African continent.
