The 13-year-old girl, Yara Zindaki, has won the Best Short Story Award at a competition recently launched by the Foundation in cooperation with the Sharjah Media City (Sun) to stimulate imagination. Children have to innovate, discover their talents, and enrich their artistic skills.

Among the 35 stories submitted to the competition, the jury confirmed that the story bore depth in its moral and human message, and the beauty of its lesson, highlighting the concept of friendship, its value and its role in overcoming social differences.

The winning story deals with the story of the "robot world" and its daily life. There are different types of robots in this world, each with its own different habits and culture. The robot is a new type with advanced wireless sensors that operate on nuclear energy. The challenges faced by robot "Beto" to adapt to others in school, and how he strengthened his friendship with Mark, who belongs to an old type of robot that only speaks "hypertext markup" and works only if it is plugged into the socket.

Yara Zindaki, winner of the competition, received AED 5000 from Sharjah Media City and a gift from FUJIFILM, as well as an opportunity to transform her story into a short film that ensures participation in the best children's film category at the Sharjah International Film Festival.

Sheikha Jawahar Bint Abdullah Al Qassimi, Director of FAN and Sharjah International Film Festival, said: "We have organized this award in the framework of our commitment to children, and we have sought to provide a sustainable environment that opens new horizons to them and unleashes their creativity and ideas. Their ability to develop their innovative ideas, translate them into creative words and texts, empower them, and allow them to express their thoughts, visions and feelings by writing a story that can be turned into a film. "FAN aims to build educated and educated generations equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to achieve prosperity in all kinds of arts. The participation of children in this award is an opportunity to acquire new knowledge and experience that enabled them to practice the brainstorming process to come up with an innovative idea, "We thank the jury of the award for its efforts and guidance for children, and its keenness to support the visions and orientations of an art institution in all its efforts to enhance the technical capabilities of the new generations."
