“Nikolai Karachentsov was an outstanding artist, a true cinema star and the legendary Lenkom, in which he served for many years,” the head of state said.
On October 26, at the age of 73, Nikolai Karachentsov, People’s Artist of Russia, died. He has more than 100 works in the cinema, including “The Dog in the Hay”, “The Man from Capuchin Boulevard”, “The Criminal Quartet”, “The Eldest Son”.
Farewell to the artist will be held October 29 in "Lenkom".
