Guest of Laurent Mariotte's Les bons vivants, the journalist confides in his tastes and culinary pleasures.

INTERVIEW

A flagship figure on the weekends of French viewers, Laurent Delahousse has been in charge of the newspapers on Saturday and Sunday in France 2 since 2007. Invited on Saturday from La table des bons vivants , the journalist talks about his culinary favorites, between simplicity and heritage family.

"Pastry passionates me less". It is with a simple box of tuna fillet that Laurent Delahousse took place alongside Laurent Mariotte, Saturday on Europe 1. A food that represents well this follower of the semi-kitchen, enthusiast of the rapid assembly with products simple. "When you come home late, or you are in a hurry, with a little hollow, you take a small box of tuna fillet with a lemon juice, a little chive and you're done," said the journalist. "I like to open the fridge and ask how we can accommodate everything inside," says Laurent Delahousse. The book kitchen, with the perfect dosage and indications to follow to the letter, very little for him. "That's why I'm less passionate about pastry," he says.

Another favorite food of Laurent Delahousse's culinary galaxy: asparagus. "I think it's magic," says the journalist. For the green? "Seared, with a little parmesan and balsamic". The White one ? "Pretty classic, if it's really beautiful, a little melted butter but that's all, not too much stuff."

Ham with brown sugar. In the midst of all this simplicity, Laurent Delahousse still has a weakness for more elaborate recipes. And especially that of ham with brown sugar. "A product that sends me back on December 24, in the north of France, with my grandmother," says the journalist. "This ham on the bone was half-cooked, in the oven, topped with brown sugar, butter, watered with Port, served with blueberry jam and spinach," recalls Laurent Delahousse, "it's beautiful" . A true madeleine of culinary Proust.
