Until September 15, the Great Hall will be immersed in the semi-darkness, creating a special atmosphere to discover the objects of the tomb of the young pharaoh. The visitors, amazed, have eyes that shine. "This statue is bluffing ... Superb!" loose Michele, standing, speechless and almost moved in front of this ebony black centerpiece, covered with gold. "When we enter this exhibition, it feels like entering the tomb of Tutankhamun, it's beautiful."

"I thought kings were not kids"

Visitors, armed with their smartphones, try to approach the windows to admire the still intact details of objects over 3,000 years old. Salome, 8, sneaks up to watch the king's armchair, inlaid with gold, a child-sized throne of Tutankhamun. "It's beautiful, there are things we discover and we do not see every day," says the little girl, who attends a life-size history class.

"One can not think that the seats for the kings-children existed, because I thought that the kings were not children", while Toutânkhamon came to power at only 9 years old, before dying at 18 years old. Big and small fans of mythology have six months to discover the history of Tutankhamun, before the collection returns to the great museum of Cairo. Forever.
