Toten Hosen singer Campino slips on a journey into a kind of full-body sock. "There is a kind of rubber suit, in which I force myself before intercontinental flights," said the 56-year-old the "New Osnabrück newspaper.

"Many athletes use this as well, because it stimulates the circulation and arrives fitter after a twelve-hour flight." The suit was "like a thrombosis sock for the whole body," he said. "Not exactly sexy, but effective."

The gap he deliberately draw on the airport toilet, said Campino the newspaper. "We would never show the suits to anyone because we look like a gymnastics group in them."

On March 28, the documentary "Because you only live once" by director Cordula Kablitz-Post. The film, which premiered at the Berlinale in February, accompanies the band on their tour and provides exclusive insights.
