The brother of remand clan chief Arafat Abou-Chaker has been arrested, according to Berlin prosecutors. Yasser Abou-Chaker is accused of dating a crime.
The brothers are said to have kidnapped the wife and children of rapper Bushido. Also an acid attack on the partner of the rapper, Anna-Maria Ferchichi, they should have prepared. Yasser's brother Arafat had been arrested last week.
Bushido and Arafat Abou-Chaker have been business partners and friends for years. In March 2018 the break occurred. Since then, the men are fighting over the business. The Abou Chakers wanted to blackmail with the kidnapping, according to prosecutors a five-figure amount. Arafat Abou-Chaker is silent so far on the allegations.
His brother will soon be presented in Denmark to a judge who decides on extradition. If Yasser agrees with Abou-Chaker, he could be in Germany within one or two days as part of a simplified procedure. Otherwise, it could take longer.
