Five passengers were forced to help an aircraft crew control a man who was ripping off his clothes during a trip to Singapore, Australia's media reported Thursday.
Australian police told the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) that they arrested the man when the Scott plane landed at Sydney International Airport on Monday night.
The plane, belonging to a low-cost airline, was en route from the Gold Coast to Singapore when two men began to exchange punches.
A video recorded by passengers and posted on the Internet showed a man trying to stifle the other before the crew and other passengers could separate them from each other.
A man was arguing with a hostess when he suddenly ripped his shirt and attacked someone else.
A number of passengers jumped onto the attacker and took control of him and his hands and legs were tied.
One passenger told APC that a man was drinking alcohol and was aggressive about 20 minutes after the flight.

A spokeswoman for Scott said the man appeared normal during the take-off, but soon began to disturb the passengers around him.
In an attempt to defuse the situation, he was moved to another place by plane by the hospitality crew, and was prevented from drinking alcohol.
The pilot took the decision to return and land in Sydney. Police have not yet announced whether the passenger will face charges.
