The Syndicate of Music Professions announced that the Egyptian singer would stop singing and turn it into an investigation into the statements attributed to her that harm the Egyptian national security.

The union, headed by artist Hani Shaker on Wednesday, the twenty-seventh of March, a date to investigate with Sherine in the union to clarify what happened.

Sherine Abdel Wahab remains silent and has not commented on all that has been raised against her, and her husband, singer Hossam Habib, does not respond to phone calls.

A report was submitted to the Egyptian Attorney General accusing her of insulting Egypt because of statements attributed to her.

This was followed by a decision by the Egyptian musicians' union to stop Shirin from singing and to refer her to the investigation in order to know her response to everything that was said against her.

The story began with a concert held in Bahrain, which Shereen revived three days ago. The days pass without a talk about the concert except through videos showing the songs presented by Shirin.

Before Egyptian lawyer Samir Sabri filed a complaint with the Attorney General accusing the Egyptian singer of harassing Egypt and publishing false news and calling on the suspicious human rights organizations working against the country to interfere in Egyptian affairs. Sabri said in his communication that Shirin had written a text at the concert:

Iyad Kaddah, I can speak my freedom in Egypt, who does not speak Betzenj, "stressing that he has records of what she said at the ceremony, noting that the daughter of former Prime Minister Aziz Sadqi was present at the ceremony and witness to the incident.
