Liberty Media, the company that owns Formula One, is finalizing the purchase of the Spanish Dorna Sports, owner of MotoGP, for more than 4,000 million euros. According to sources close to the negotiations cited by the media, Liberty, chaired by telecommunications and entertainment magnate John Malone, would acquire DORNa after discarding another offer from the TKO group.

Despite everything, the agreement would have to first face approval by the regulatory authorities, since the CVC investment fund had already had to get rid of the motorcycles in 2006 to be able to buy Formula One.
