Madrid courts exceed one million cases in a year for the first time: 95% of procedures have been resolved. Throughout Spain, judicial bodies recorded an increase in litigation of 4.8% last year compared to 2022, with the Canary Islands and Andalusia as the autonomous communities with a higher rate.
The number of new cases only decreased in the Contentious-Administrative order, while in the Civil, Criminal and Social jurisdictions it increased by 6.4%, 3.9% and 5.4% respectively.
