France: the “Tinder rapist” sentenced to 18 years of criminal imprisonment. Salim Berrada, a 38-year-old Moroccan, was sentenced this Friday evening to almost the maximum sentence he faced: 20 years in prison.
The accused, a former photographer, was found guilty of 12 rapes and three sexual assaults. He was acquitted for two other complainants, absent at the hearing, with the benefit of the doubt. The flirt and rapist who poisoned his victims before abusing them is now banned from practicing his profession as a photographer.
