President Xi Jinping met collectively with representatives from the U.S. business community and strategic academia at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.
Nearly 20 heavyweights from the United States attended the meeting. President Xi Jinping introduced China's economic development situation to the American people, explained China's development path and domestic and foreign policies. He also had in-depth exchanges with them on a series of important issues in China-U.N. relations. He said China's attitude has always been to take it calmly and concentrate on running its own affairs.
