Colette grew up with a toxic mother: “I chased her love all my life”. Anne-Marie was a student and single when she gave birth to Colette in 1953.
Unable to take care of the baby, she even tried to poison him with adulterated milk. At the age of six, Colette's mother took her home. She still cannot stand the presence of her child at home and Colette does not receive any sign of affection. Her mother also regularly deprives her of food, causing the little girl to suffer from stunted growth.
