A sentence of 19 years of criminal imprisonment required at the trial of the “Tinder rapist”. A very “severe” sentence – the maximum incurred was twenty years – for the one who “destroyed 17 lives’.
The verdict is expected Friday evening. Salim Berrada will have the floor one last Friday afternoon after the pleadings of his defense. The plaintiffs, most of them in their early twenties at the time, have come in large numbers every day since the trial opened.
