Earlier, Latvian President Edgar Rinkevich and German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius made similar proposals. According to analysts, the presence of such discussions in EU countries indicates the militarization of the West. The debate on compulsory military service should be broad-based, Severa said. The army in Poland is a place where one can realize oneself in various fields.
