Tokyo Women's Medical University president's secretary received fraudulent salary from alumni association. It is suspected that salaries were fraudulently paid to employees who were not actually working at the university.
The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the details of how this employee was paid. The former employee is a former employee of the obstetrics and gynecology clinic run by Chairman Iwamoto, and was hired as an employee of a hospital run by Shiseikai in 2015. He was soon transferred to the university to work in a department under the direct control of the president, where he was responsible for secretarial duties.
