Suzu Ishikawa Entrance ceremony held at the only high school where students renew their determination for recovery. Iida Prefectural High School in Suzu City was used as an evacuation center for about a month after the earthquake.

There are still cracks in the walls of the school building and the toilets remain unusable. The entrance ceremony was attended by over 50 new students who decided to stay in their hometown, and Shizuo Maeno, representing the new students, said, "I will lead a bright school life"
