Rhineland-Palatinate: Dog discovered on island after twelve days. 15-year-old Famke jumped into the water on March 15th.
Campsite visitors became aware of the animal on Wednesday. The cocker spaniel mix is in good shape and will remain in the care of the fire department until her owners can pick up her from the island near Zell an der Moselle, police said. The fire department rescued the dog and is caring for her until she can be picked up.
