Martin Scorsese is making a film about Jesus. He actually wanted to become a priest, but failed in seminary.

Now the director is taking on a series about saints. The series will be an eight-part docudrama titled “MartinScorsese Presents: The Saints’ The first four episodes of the series will air in November. The remaining four will run until May 2025. The template is “The Life of Jesus” by the Japanese author Endō Shūsaku.
