Electric car F1 “Formula E” to be held for the first time in Japan tomorrow Koto-ku, Tokyo. Eleven teams from eight countries including Japan, the UK, Germany, and China are participating in the race.

Tokyo Metropolitan Government is promoting efforts to popularize ZEVs as a measure against climate change, and in 2018 set a goal of increasing the proportion of passenger cars in Tokyo to 50% of new car sales by 2030. There are no zero-emission vehicles (ZEVs) such as electric cars or fuel cell cars.
