Daihatsu/Toyota's overseas business Toyota is responsible for everything from development to certification. Daihatsu is gradually restarting production of vehicle models that have been confirmed to comply with national standards.
There is no prospect of resuming production for three vehicle models, of which approximately 110,000 units were produced in fiscal 2022. Three people, including former chairman Jun Matsubayashi and former president Soichiro Okudaira, have returned last year's bonuses in full to clarify management responsibilities.
