As of March 29, the above-mentioned products have caused the death of five Japanese consumers.

  After telephone communication and verification with the customer service center of Kobayashi Pharmaceutical (China) Co., Ltd., it was found that except for Chinese consumers purchasing through cross-border platforms, overseas physical stores or overseas purchasing agents, the above products are not sold in the mainland Chinese market. In order to effectively protect the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese consumers, the China Consumers Association reminds consumers:

Stop taking the relevant products immediately and actively cooperate with the recall

  If consumers have purchased the relevant products, please stop taking them immediately and contact the customer service center of Kobayashi Pharmaceutical (China) Co., Ltd. If you purchase on a cross-border e-commerce platform, you can apply for a return or refund through the platform. It is understood that Kobayashi Pharmaceutical has voluntarily recalled three products, and Kobayashi Pharmaceutical (China) Co., Ltd. will actively assist Chinese consumers in completing the recall.
