«Emirates Airlines» provides kiosks for self-check-in

Today, Emirates Airlines unveiled an automatic system for finalizing travel procedures and handing over bags in 'Terminal 3' at Dubai International Airport.

In a statement, the carrier stated that the service is currently available to travelers to all destinations except the United States, Canada, China, India and Hong Kong due to the additional requirements of these countries.

It stated that the 16 new self-delivery machines and the eight self-kiosks are added to the check-in counters managed by Emirates Airlines employees, as they contribute to reducing customers' waiting time during peak periods and improving their experience at Dubai Airport, noting that an addition is planned More self-service facilities in the coming months.

The carrier indicated that the new kiosks allow customers to finish travel procedures, extract boarding passes, choose their seats, and deliver bags.

She added that despite the presence of Emirates Airlines staff to provide assistance, these facilities are completely self-catering, and allow customers to pass through the airport and go directly to the passport control section.
