The Central Bank kept the key rate at 4.25% per annum

“On September 18, 2020, the Board of Directors of the Bank of Russia decided to keep the key rate at 4.25% per annum,” the message says. 

At the end of July, the Central Bank cut its key rate from 4.5 to 4.25% per annum.

As noted in the department of monetary policy of the regulator, the Central Bank sees space for further reduction of the key rate.
