the rain is expected to rain up to 500mm in the central region by tomorrow (5th), the Headquarters of the Center for Disaster Prevention and Security will upgrade the crisis warning to the highest level of severity and enter the emergency system. The Paldang Dam, which directly affects the water level of the Han River, also opens water gates all day long and releases a lot of water, but it connects reporters who are on the site.

Reporter Kim Ki-tae, what is the situation now?

Paldang Dam continues to release 10 out of 15 water gates.

The amount of discharge is usually less than 200 tons per second when it is not raining, but it is currently discharging over 9,000 tons per second.

In the rainy yesterday afternoon, 15,000 tons of water were spilled per second.

The water discharged from here arrives at the Hangang Bridge in Seoul in about 4 to 4 hours and a half.

Due to rain pouring in the metropolitan area, the Cheongpyeong Dam, the Han River water dam, also opens the water gate and flows about 3,000 tons of water per second.

There are still flood warnings throughout the central area, right?

Heavy rains continue in the southern and northern parts of Gyeonggi Province.

The Central Countermeasures Safety Headquarters raised the crisis warning to Feng Shui at 6 o'clock yesterday evening to the highest level on the alert.

The company urged me not to go out unnecessarily, saying that the situation is repeatedly repeated with strong rain.

In particular, flood warnings have been issued since yesterday morning in Namyangju and Pocheon, Gyeonggi Province.

At one point, Wang Sukcheon, which passed through this area, was almost flooded, and Namyangju City also evacuated about 120 people living in the lowlands.

The current water level of Pocheon Yeongpyeong Bridge, where the flood warning has been issued, is about 2.5m, and the water level of the Pilseung Bridge in the northernmost part of the Imjin River is over 3m, which seems to require attention.
