  According to Three Gorges Group, the 10 MW generating unit of this grid-connected power generation is the latest generation of large-capacity offshore wind turbines with complete independent intellectual property rights.   The Three Gorges stated that since the construction and operation costs of offshore wind power are much higher than those of onshore wind power, the promotion and use of 10 MW offshore wind turbines with larger capacity and higher energy density can greatly reduce the foundation, levy, installation, submarine cable and later stage. The cost of operation and maintenance promotes the reduction of the cost of offshore wind power and electricity, and effectively improves the market competitiveness of offshore wind power in the era of "parity grid"; at the same time, it also helps to reduce the sea area used by wind farms and increase the utilization rate of the ocean.
