Flydubai added two new destinations to the list of private flights operated by the airline in the context of helping residents and visitors from some countries, who are currently in the UAE, to return to their countries of origin.

According to data that Emirates Today viewed, a copy of it, the carrier opened the door of reservations to both Cairo and Alexandria.

Also, according to a document sent to the travel agencies, the newspaper also viewed a copy of it, “flydubai” will operate six flights to Alexandria International Airport between 12 and 14 June, at a rate of two flights per day, where all flights from Building (No. 2) will be operated in Dubai International Airport, while the airline will operate a daily flight to Cairo Airport during the same period.

Flight prices will start from 1,800 dirhams, including 30 kilograms of check-in luggage.

The total number of countries covered by the carrier in its network reached 12 countries, as besides Egypt, flights are also available to Pakistan, India, Iran, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Bangladesh, Georgia, Romania, Serbia, Finland, and Kyrgyzstan.

The company pointed out that all trips are to return home only, as it will transport citizens of the mentioned countries who reside in the country or are currently visiting it, noting that all one-way trips leaving from Dubai are available in economy class.

She added that all flights that will start from Building No. 2 are subject to government approval and will not operate unless these approvals are obtained.

"Flydubai" stressed that travelers who complete travel procedures for repatriation trips must bring their own masks and gloves (with additional gloves and masks), and wear them for the duration of the trip, pointing out that handbags will be limited to personal purposes only. Passengers will also undergo a thermal examination at the airport, with confirmation that they do not experience any symptoms before being allowed to travel.
