  According to the relevant person in charge of the Guizhou Development and Reform Commission, the Anshun to Liupanshui Railway has a total length of 125 kilometers, a new 118 kilometers, a total investment of 15.1 billion yuan, and a national railway I-level double-track passenger dedicated line with a design speed of 250 kilometers per hour. It is the first in Guizhou Province An intercity high-speed railway. The line leads from Anshun West Station of Shanghai-Kunming High-speed Railway, passes west to Liuzhi Special Zone in Liupanshui City, and connects to Shuicheng Station of Liupanshui Junction, and then reuses the existing Shanghai-Kunming Railway to introduce Liupanshui Station. The project started full construction at the end of 2015, completed track laying at the end of 2019, and completed static acceptance in late April 2020. Joint commissioning and joint testing will be launched in the near future to strive for completion and commissioning in the third quarter of 2020. After the project is completed and put into operation, the mileage of high-speed rail in Guizhou Province will exceed 1500 kilometers, and the travel time from Guiyang to Liupanshui will be shortened from the current 3.5 hours to about 1 hour.
