“President Putin very positively evaluates the agreed document, which became a compromise of the 22 countries participating,” RIA Novosti quoted the Kremlin representative as saying.

He noted that a total of 23 countries took part, and the document was the result of a compromise of 22 states that were able to agree on models for reducing oil production “with a suspensive condition”.

“This suspensive condition is related to the position of Mexico,” he added.

Earlier, oil exporting countries renewed their partnership in the OPEC + format. Following the talks, most states agreed to reduce the production of raw materials by 10 million barrels per day. The exception was Mexico.

It is expected that negotiations with this country will continue on April 10.
