This was announced by press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov.
Peskov noted that Putin was discussing the situation on international energy markets with leaders of other countries, including US President Donald Trump.
He added that the Ministry is conducting intensive contacts with various countries due to the adverse atmosphere in the energy markets.
“This is all the reasons for the president to meet with relevant heads of departments and oil industry workers to discuss the situation,” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
Earlier, prices for Russian Urals oil left the negative zone.
