A certain number of French people will discover this Tuesday, or in the next few days, what it means for them to be laid off. Two new lines on the bulletin, and a "net to pay" at the bottom lower than in February: this is what begin to discover the employees put on partial unemployment from mid-March. The two lines are first, at the top of the bulletin, just below the gross salary, the amount that is subtracted under the absence for partial unemployment. And then - second line - a little lower: the partial activity allowance which is added. An indemnity equal to 84% of net salary, and even 100% if you are on minimum wage.

And at the very bottom, on the line "net to pay before direct debit"? Take the example of two employees from the same company, a business, for example, who was forced to lower the curtain on March 16. The two employees worked normally the first half of the month and did not work the second half at all. The first, paid at minimum wage, will see his net salary reduced by 44 euros. The second, paid 2,000 euros gross per month, will suffer a loss of 148 euros.
