The Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC) hosted the 'Partners Forum' held in Abu Dhabi in the presence of representatives of more than 30 government institutions from different regions of the UAE, to get acquainted with the latest developments of the UAE's peaceful nuclear program as well as operational preparations for the first stations of the Barakah Nuclear Power Project Al Dhafra Area, Abu Dhabi.

The forum provided an opportunity to communicate with partners who were briefed on the progress of construction and testing at Barakah Nuclear Power Plants, before allowing inquiries and answers from the Foundation's representatives.

The Foundation is committed to developing the Barakah Nuclear Power Plants project in accordance with the highest international standards of safety, quality and security, while continuing to coordinate and cooperate closely with partners to achieve this goal.

It is worth mentioning that construction works are progressing steadily in Barakah peaceful nuclear power plants, where the total percentage of completion in the four plants reached more than 93%, the completion rate in the fourth station reached 82%, the third to 91% and the second to 95%, while the operations are continuing. Testing and operational preparations at the first station after completion of construction works, pending obtaining the operating license from the Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation.
