The leader of the Republican majority in the Senate spoke Friday night on the announced withdrawal of US troops in a column published by the Washington Post .

" Withdrawing US forces from Syria is a serious strategic mistake ." This is the position of Mitch McConnell, who is used to supporting President Trump.
