The French can buy from Monday morning September 3 a scratch game called "Heritage Mission". And for good reason, part of the funds raised with this game must help finance the renovation of French cultural sites. The idea was validated last May by President Macron on the proposal of TV presenter Stéphane Bern, responsible for a mission on the subject.

The scratch game "Heritage Mission" costs 15 euros. That's a lot, but it's a form of patronage since on this sum, 1.52 euro will be donated to the Heritage Foundation, in charge of the rehabilitation of historic sites in danger.

The rest is divided between the trader who sells the ticket, 78 cents, the French games that organizes the operation, 86 cents, a tax paid to the state, 1.04 euro, and, of course, the money that will share the winners, 10.80 euros. Maximum possible gain: 1.5 million euros.

In addition to this scratch game, a lottery will be held on September 14: 3 euros the bet, for a jackpot of 13 million euros.

Enough to support the renovation of French historic monuments: castles, religious buildings, industrial or military agricultural buildings.

250 priority projects and 18 emblematic projects have been identified. Among them are Aimé Césaire's house in Fort-de-France, Martinique, Fort Cigogne de Fouesnant in Brittany, and the Convent of Saint François de Pino in Corsica. This operation should raise 15 to 20 million euros for the renovation of these sites.
