A plane from the American company Southwest Airlines had to turn around to land safely in Denver, Colorado. An engine cowling fell off during takeoff on Sunday, the federal civil aviation agency said.
No passengers were injured, assured the company Southwest in a press release to CNN. Boeing is in turmoil after a succession of quality and safety problems on its planes for more than a year. The American giant Boeing had already struggled to recover after two crashes in 2018 and 2019, according to a report in The Wall Street Journal.
