China News Service, Fuzhou, April 7 (Reporter Long Min) During the Fuzhou City's centralized construction start-up event in the second quarter of 2024 held on the 7th, 186 major projects started intensively with a total investment of 123.8 billion yuan (RMB, the same below). It involves the construction of the China-Indonesia "Two Countries and Two Parks" project, new energy industry, digital economy and other fields.
Among these major projects that have been started intensively, there are 108 industrial projects with a total investment of 59.4 billion yuan; 37 social and livelihood projects with a total investment of 32.1 billion yuan; and 41 infrastructure projects with a total investment of 32.3 billion yuan.
The newly started China-Indonesia Economic and Trade Innovation and Development Demonstration Park Food Industrial Park (Phase I) project will build industrial standardized factories, food e-commerce centers, cold storage and other facilities.
In the past year or so, the construction of the "Twin Parks in Two Countries" project between China and Indonesia has continued to accelerate and is becoming a new engine for Fuzhou to stabilize investment and expand opening up. At the 9th Presidium Inauguration Ceremony of the World Fuqing Association and the China-Indonesia “Twin Parks” Promotion Conference held on April 2 this year, China and Indonesia signed 10 projects for the “Twin Parks”, involving technology, Finance, agriculture, real estate and other fields.
When Lin Baojin, member of the Standing Committee of the Fujian Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Fuzhou Municipal Party Committee, went to Fuqing, Fuzhou to investigate the construction of the "Two Countries and Twin Parks" between China and Indonesia, he emphasized that we must go all out to seize projects, promote investment, stabilize growth, and accelerate the construction of new flagship projects of the "Belt and Road"; High Standards promote park planning and design, development and construction, international cooperation, etc., and continue to expand advantages and become bigger and stronger.
Cross-strait integrated development has also become a driving force for Fuzhou to stabilize investment. As an important carrier for the integrated development of both sides of the Taiwan Strait, the construction of the Mazuao Coastal Tourist Resort has made new progress. The Dongluo Island comprehensive tourism development and construction project and the Huangqi Town Gushi Village infrastructure and rural tourism supporting projects have started. Among them, the Dongluo Island full-area tourism development and construction project located in the northeast of Taiyan Town, Lianjiang County, Fuzhou City, with a total investment of approximately 126 million yuan, will deeply explore the cultural connotation of the fishing village, highlight regional characteristics, and build fishermen's restaurants, wooden houses, and scenic spots.
