Saudi Arabia's Defense Ministry on Wednesday presented data, photos, wreckage of drones and missiles it said were referring to Iran's role in Saturday's attack on two Aramco oil facilities in eastern Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Defense Ministry spokesman Colonel Turki al-Maliki said the available data showed it was impossible to launch the attack from Yemen, in response to the Yemeni Houthi group's claim of responsibility for the attack.

The spokesman pointed out that the investigation indicated that the attack on Aramco came from the north, and that it was "undoubtedly" sponsored by Iran, and used Iranian weapons, he said.

He added that 25 drones and a cruise missile were used in the attack on the Aramco factories in Abqaiq and Khurais, and that some missiles did not hit their targets in the attack.
