Disappearance of Lina: the gendarmes will probe the water points

A team of divers from Strasbourg will probe the ponds this Wednesday in the area where Lina, a 15-year-old girl, disappeared Saturday, we learned from the gendarmes and the prosecutor of Saverne. The girl has not been seen since she went late Saturday morning to the station of Saint-Blaise-la-Roche (Bas-Rhin), taking on foot a route of about 3 km from her home.

"A sounding operation of the two bodies of water located in the potential area of disappearance of the girl will be organized this afternoon (Wednesday) by the river company of Strasbourg. This unit will hire 10 personnel including seven divers, "said the prosecutor of the Republic of Saverne, Aline Clérot, in a statement.

According to the gendarmes, the divers will probe the water points of the area in search of clues from the path taken by the teenager, starting in particular with the pond of Breux.

A medical-psychological emergency unit set up

In addition, 15 soldiers of the gendarmerie will carry out in the day a new sweep on the ground, according to the same source.

The prosecutor of Saverne said that a medical-psychological emergency cell (CUMP) would be set up from 13:00 Wednesday in the commune of Plaine "to ensure the necessary support to the inhabitants affected by the disturbing disappearance of a young girl in the region".

At his request, the victim support association SOS France Victimes 67 will coordinate the system "to allow medium and long-term monitoring".
