A 15-year-old girl disappeared Saturday near Sainte-Blaise-La-Roche in the Bas-Rhin, announced Monday the prosecutor's office of Saverne which has opened an investigation in "disturbing disappearance". The girl, named Lina, had to walk from her home to the station of Sainte-Blaise-La-Roche, three kilometers away, in order to reach Strasbourg and find a friend who, not seeing her arrive, gave the alert.
Sweeps organized at the potential sites of disappearance
The investigation was entrusted to the Strasbourg research section, co-seized with the Bas-Rhin gendarmerie group. According to the first checks, the girl "did not get on the train," says the prosecutor of Saverne, Aline Clérot. The teenager "was not known to have run away until then, according to the first hearings," says the magistrate.
Several sweeps were organized at the potential scene of the disappearance, including mobilizing a canine team, as well as a beating and overflight of the area by a helicopter and drones.
