Bizarrap, the renowned Argentine artist, surrenders to the charms of Juana La Loca's legendary tortilla. In an interview for the program Paren La Mano he acknowledged that it was his favorite restaurant in Spain. The family tavern, founded 22 years ago, welcomes hundreds of national and international customers every day. Attracted by their tortilla, they drop into the place, located on the corner of Plaza Puerta de Moros and Tabernillas Street, in Madrid's La Latina neighborhood. The pintxos are the protagonists of its menu among a wide culinary proposal made with seasonal artisan products.

A month 1,400 units of its star dish, the potato omelette with poached onions, are prepared, both through its website with home delivery and in the establishment itself. An iconic bar and a set of low tables merge into an urban-style tavern in which to enjoy the national cuisine. The business is still led by its founder Isabel Tocchetti together with her son Filippo Bonasso, who leads the team as head waiter, and, faithful to their proposal, they cook traditional dishes with international touches to increase the flavor of each bite.
Juana La Loca tortilla is made following a simple recipe (created by Isabel) and using quality ingredients. The key to the result is marked by the potato variety, the monalisa, from farmers in Madrid, and by the cooking time in which they get the juiciness for which it triumphs. It has been selected as the best tortilla in Madrid on numerous occasions, but this meeting point of the capital offers other common dishes of the Mediterranean diet and innovative inspired by other places.

In their menu they have other iconic dishes such as teriyaki eel nigiri with foie gras, smoked sardine pintxo with burrata, soft shell crab or chivito (which pays homage to the classic Uruguayan sandwich). Its gastronomic offer is expanded every month with off-menu variations that are made with market products such as tomatoes, piparras, or mushrooms from San Jorge. Creativity in the kitchen is one of its hallmarks along with tradition and authenticity.

The popular music producer, Bizarrap, with almost 20 million followers is one of the regulars of the place, for which celebrities such as Andrea Duro or Juan Betancourt have also passed. Since last Friday the artist declared himself a fan of his tortilla, the volume of customers of the restaurant has increased. It is an essential stop for lovers of tortillas, and good food, who can also delight at home (those who live in the center of Madrid) thanks to its own delivery service, in which 12 of its dishes are available. It opens its doors from Tuesday to Sunday from 13.00 to 16.30 and from 20.00 to 0.00.
