Around 22 p.m., a man "opened fire with a submachine gun on a group of several young people," killing two of them, said the prosecutor of the Republic of Rennes, Philippe Astruc. "The place and type of facts suggest a possible 'settling of accounts' against a background of drug trafficking", a hypothesis however to be confirmed, according to the magistrate.
